Oh, check out our sweet little Addie Grace! Our baby has a bit of a shiner. So here is the low-down. Chris and I were standing outside, talking to our neighbor, when Addie decided to join us. Addison had successfully made it down all of the stairs in front of our house, except the last one. All of a sudden Chris and I hear a pretty good "Thud" coming from Addie's direction. As we quickly assessed the situation, we found that as she was stepping down off the last step, the poor girl suddenly lost her balance, and did a direct nose dive, smashing her face right onto the concrete side walk below. Oh, Boy - The neighborhood was soon made aware of the events taking place in front of the Horton house - Addison made it all very loud and clear. Except, I am not sure what hurt her worse - the seriouse road-rash she now proudly wore on her sweet face, or the fact that I was the one who scooped her up and took her into the house to get cleaned up as Addison cried for her Daddy the whole time. Yep, definately a Daddy's Girl. Once Chris showed up, she was miraculously better!
